Exhibitor Information

SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY. ALL DAY. EVERY DAY.

If you’re an exhibitor, you’ve landed on the right page.

The Knoxville Convention Center, located between the urban area of downtown Knoxville and the campus of the University of Tennessee, offers exhibitors a beautiful facility to showcase their products and a vibrant area to explore when not staffing your exhibit. Downtown Knoxville has an eclectic mix of restaurants, shops and theaters and a thriving residential population.

The center is located in the middle of a large metropolitan area with three major interstate systems, so events are well attended. We have an outstanding relationship with local media so our events are also well promoted.

The center, which borders the beautiful World’s Fair Park, features three floors of concourse, meeting and exhibit space. We have exhibition halls and conference and meeting rooms to meet the needs of any event and allow for maximum exposure for the exhibitors.

We are here to serve you in the true “Volunteer” spirit of East Tennessee.

Facility Amenities

We want to meet every need for your event to ensure that your stay in our facility is both productive and pleasant.

At the core of our Convention Center is a single expanse with nearly 120,000 gross square feet of contiguous and divisible exhibit space on one level. This area has separate entrances so it allows for easy movement of attendees. There are utility floor ports located on 30-foot centers that provide electricity, drainage, data and phone connections. Compressed air and water are also located on specific columns.

The second floor offers two exhibit halls, a lecture hall and meeting rooms. Our exhibit halls can be used as general or plenary sessions for large groups. The halls can be set up in theater or elevated theater seating, classroom or banquet or a combination of these sets.

The third floor features ballrooms and meeting rooms and the very visible Henley, Clinch and Cumberland concourses where attendees can easily view the exhibits and passers-by at street level can see the activity.

We are a turnkey operation and offer in-house services for all food and beverages with selections created by Chef Daryl O'Donnell and his stellar catering staff. We also can provide a full range of audiovisual services, sound reinforcement, slide and video projection, video production and computer/projection interfacing, along with technology and Internet needs.

Move In & Move Out

The Knoxville Convention Center has an underground loading dock with nine truck bays. Seven of the bays have dock levelers for easy offloading. Ramps allow for direct access to the exhibit floor, and tractor-trailers up to 74 feet in length can be turned around underground. The entrance gate to the secured loading dock area via Cumberland Avenue is 15.5 feet tall and 37 feet, 10 inches in width.

The nearby Blackstock parking lot serves as the marshalling yard for your event. Upon arrival to the yard, check in with the marshalling coordinator, who will guide you through the loading dock access, unloading and parking process.

Once the event is over, you pick up a loading pass from the show office/manager and report to the marshalling yard. The coordinator will direct you to the loading dock as bays become available.
